Role Description
Claims Handler required for expanding Healthcare company.

An exciting opportunity for a customer focused Claims Handler to join our expanding team. You will be based in our Peterborough office and will be responsible for providing a personal service to your own client base. This will involve liaising with clients, Doctors, Surgeons and Consultants to obtain medical information allowing a full decision to be made by our underwriters on the eligibility of claims.

Your role will utilise your customer service experience, your letter writing abilities and general administration skills. You will report to the Client Relations Team Leader and will work in a non-call centre environment. It is important to stress that this role is very hands on and will require candidates with the ability to multi task.

Main responsibilities:
· Building relationships with your client base through regular contact
· Processing new applications and health care claims
· Managing your own workload through careful planning
· General administration duties
· Undertaking regular training to keep up to date with developments
· Assisting team members as and when required

The ideal candidate:

You will have a sound customer service background with strong IT skills. An ability to build relationships with your client base and a confident approach when dealing with non eligible claims. Excellent organisation skills and the ability to multi task and meet deadlines are essential.
